Gaylord is just as expensive and across the street. When we attend dance conversations there, I stay at Marriotts (Residence inn and Courtyard) about 5 miles north on 26.
The gaylord is directly across the street. It is definitely a better deal to stay at the lodge. The rooms are very accommodating and water park passes are included. If you just go to the park it is $50 per person.
