I guess if youre talented enough, anything's possible. We've gone 3 times now and my 8yo and 5yo have not been hurt yet.
No you don't get hurt but u have to be careful because water slides are slippery
If you follow the guidelines there isn't anything to worry about! You might bump a knoggin while doing down the slide if you are too loosey goosey but I wouldn't categorize that as a true "hurt"!

The slides are safe and go by your height. Each one is color coded, they measure you at the door and tell you what you can and can't get on. My 5 yr old was able to get on all slides except for the tornado.
