Is there places to sit if you can't walk far?

Yes the are a few places. You can even sit in some of the cells.

There are some inside the front of the weapons museum

They do have some benches and old stones and stairs. I don't recall any benches inside the weapons museum though. So a portable backpack stool my be handy
