How long does the tour take and is there plenty of benches for sitting for older people. One last questions are there alot of stairs?

When I went I didn't take the tour, and it took about 1 1/2 hours. There are some stairs, but you don't have to use them if you don't want to. There aren't a lot of benches.

I did the overnight paranormal investigation with the Big River Paranormal folks...highly recommend it...9 to 2 am...walking is not hard, but sitting is mostly on the ground during EVP sessions.

We didn't take the "tour". It was nice to walk around on your own. You don't need to walk up to the 2nd stories as it is the same as the ground floor except in the building with the gallows. There aren't many places to sit.

No I don't think lots of stairs, when I went we didn't do the tour walk around to ur own pace. But its great

The tours are structured to take 75 to 90 minutes. They usually include one stop that is up one flight of stairs, the Old Idaho Penitentiary’s Death Row.
