I have the same problem with claustrophobia and also had to get two MRI's. I couldn't do them at Envision at Allen because the machine was just too small. So I went over to Envision in Dallas on Merit Drive. Their machine is a bit bigger and the guy who was doing the MRI really helped me. He was a miracle worker because I truly believed I wouldn't be able to do it and because of him, I was able to. Music, eye covers, lavender scent and praying got me through two of them. :)
Hey! My mom was anxious and the same way, I don't know what they did or told her to keep her calm, but whatever it was it worked. She said some lady in there in the procedure helped her. I hoped this helped. They are really nice there.
