Terry who is the owner, he Specializes and curly hair. My daughter is mixed with Mexican and black and she has two different kinds of curl texture. He shaped it up really good. He was showing me how he did an inner cut to where it would lay better and not be so poofy. If you don't like what he does in a week or so you can always go back and he'll fix it. Curly hair can sometimes have a mind of its own.
I believe they can. They specialize in curls, though I cannot confirm their experience with African American hair.
