Been here a few times. Used to see Randi and had a few friends go there under my recommendation. Not anymore. No called no showed on me and this isn’t the first time it’s happened to me here! Sad because even though it’s happened more than once I still came cause they did a good job. Took time off for this for nothing. I had used Salon Purple once before and it was an okay experience, but when I booked again I requested a stylist who specifically specializes in curls. Called in, got booked with Nadia and then when I went in the day of the appointment I was told she was out for family issues and was supposed to have contacted all her clients. No problem, except she never contacted me and I don’t exactly live close to the salon. Booked again for later in the month and thought that I’d actually be able to get in this time. I then got a text the night before at 8:30pm from Nadia canceling my appointment again, so now over a month after I made my original appointment I’ve been cancelled on twice, and only receiving a notice for it once after 8pm. She was very curt and offered no explanation for the canceling or attempted to apologize for the inconvenience. Overall, a frustrating and disappointing experience, especially in terms of customer service. Hopefully others don’t have to go through the same and can get a more professional interaction than what I received.

Terry is amazing. IYKYK. I will never get my hair cut or colored anywhere else. This place is amazing for curly haired humans. My hair was down to my waist and there was no curl in my hair. I went to see him and my hair came out so short and curly I loved it.

Terry who is the owner, he Specializes and curly hair. My daughter is mixed with Mexican and black and she has two different kinds of curl texture. He shaped it up really good. He was showing me how he did an inner cut to where it would lay better and not be so poofy. If you don't like what he does in a week or so you can always go back and he'll fix it. Curly hair can sometimes have a mind of its own.
Terry! He did my daughters hair. She has 2 different kinds of curls. I could not find a stylist that understood you cant cut curly hair like fine straight/ wavy hair. I did lots of research on Terry and he cut up to his name. ✂ Chill salon too. 😎
The haircuts start at 50 and that includes the shampoo and style out. Salon Purple also specializes in curly hair

We use another system developed by the owner of SalonPurple. Who has trained stylist all over the country and has been showcased on Behind The Chair. Which is one of the largest sites for online hair education .
It does depend on who you see and what you're getting. I found this Salon because the owner, (Terry) specialized in curly haircuts, my daughter is mixed. He didn't just cut her hair, he helped teach me on how to tame/ control her curls. She loves and has so much confidence in her curls now. Terry did a cool undercut design on me. I've seen their color work, very vibrant. They specialize from conservative hairstyles, too colorful out going hairstyles.
It goes by the length of your hair. I highly recommend Terry, the owner.
There are several brands including Kevin Murphy and Usmooth and others. And yes, they are all available for purchase in the salon. The stylist you see can recommend the best products for your type of curls.

If you want a bargain haircut, don't go here. But, this place works magic, especially for curly and wavy hair. Whatever you spend, it is worth it. I have paid around $35 on up, depending on the cut and services you require. I am happy every time I leave the salon and promise myself to never go anywhere else.
