Can you unlock an apple phone purchased at this store over six yrs ago if youhave proper ID ?

Jailbreaking & unlocking are two different things. Jailbreak just lets you load non app store software. Verizon LTE phones are already unlocked. Just need to insert a new sim card.

Thanks, went to Apple store with friend was there over two hrs.After several failed attempts by their reps the phone got locked bck up.They told her to go bck where she purchased it from to get help..etc etc etc Guess she'll have to visit Verizon store after all.Ty
