Moved to Burlington a little over a year ago. Couldn't tell you how many outages we've had. Most for no good reason. Maybe too windy or something 🙄 never in my life. I live in a nice new house and I've had to deal with this issue

If I could give 0 stars I absolutely would, moved into my new place on July 1st. Never received a bill in the mail. Long story short my electric gets shut off. I call them to figure out what’s going on and pay whatever my bill is they charge me an additional $63. Asked for these fees to be waived spoke with Kathy and the supervisor Lisa who refused. And stated “we treat all of our customers the same so NO YOU WILL PAY IT ALL” once they got the money from me I then asked when my services would be restored to which she responded “We technically have 24 hours so there is no time frame if we want to wait the 24 hours we can” I explained to her that my 84 year old grandmother was visiting and had health conditions that would cause her issues sitting in a hot house to which she responded “Again we have 24 hours” absolute disrespect. Treated me like I was someone who doesn’t pay my bills or something. I have NEVER been treated this way from a company. Something needs to be done about this and this needs to be reported this type of stuff can NOT AND SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED

After these surprise outages for no reason or explanation given, I will be sending Owen electric my grocery bill for wasted food in the oven and microwave. And I had better see a big reduction in my electric bill. BTW, seems every other month they don’t send a bill and I have to guesstimate the payment I send.
