I was denied an apartment here due to a misdemeanor on my record. It wasn’t violent nor drug related. I’ve never heard of this before what can I do??

I can't rent through either properties I owe CMHA and downtown property said that's an automatic denial.. that's why I was confused about the Alms denying me because I thought if I did get denied it would be because of that.. instead I was denied for a misdemeanor from 2014. So how do I go about filing a discrimination complaint?

You can report them for discrimination, also there are other places that they may rent through. Downtown property management, and metropolitan.
