I have a whole bunch of chips that are a few months past their expiration date. I feel bad about just throwing them out. Can I still donate them if they expired in Jan 2019?

I would call them. That is a sell by date the chips are still basically good. I would also ask around at the shelters as well. You could also pull up outside of one of the shelters or soup kitchens and tell the actual people going there that the sell date is expired. People such as myself would be grateful for anything given to them.

Is there anything or anyone I can give them too? I'm pretty sure this is the sell by not the use by datw here.

No sorry

They will probably throw them out since they are already expired. Because they are regulated by FDA. If you have something that still has 3-6 months before it goes bad, they can turn it over quickly.
