I need the help of the foodbank, but very concerned about getting very out dated food and fresh food that is going bad already! Is this aloud? For example I went last week 2/8 was given some Star Wars chip snacks thebox says use before Nov 2018!

I had the exact same experience with the exact same product. However I did consume the snack and it was still fresh and tasted well. I experienced no issues. I think there might be some confusion about a sale date as opposed to a expiration date. I can't imagine that the food bank would knowingly and purposely distribute rotten food. I do know that it is important to consume the food you receive soon especially fruits and vegetables

...correct....expiration dates are not ..sale by date... Confusion is common in these cases about the relations of both.. I hope this helps ...
