The first "communication" we had with our son last Aug., was when we received his box of personal stuff shortly after the first week. A day or two later we received a formal letter in his handwriting. It contained his address and other info. A week later was his first phone call. We were surprised at how long he was allowed to talk to us.
Hi there. Matt is pretty spot-on with the timetable. When in boot camp they are trying to mold him into the sailor he has to be. This has to have his undivided attention 24/7. You will be pleasantly surprised at graduation what kind of man he has become. I am a wife of a retired salior and I believe it is one of the best things your son has done. Be proud of him and God bless.
Ok... Thank you So Much Matt!! I really appreciate it... I've been going crazy rushing home checking the mail everyday like a mad woman... But This brings me more at ease... Thanx again
