My son left for bootcamp on Aug 11th. Aug 13th was the last time I heard anything from him. He also said he would send his stuff home with the all the info on how to write. It's been almost a month and I haven't heard anything

Is there an address that we use so the recruits will receive the mail that we send? Also, is there a specific way to address them personally so it is directed to them? Thank you in advance

I'm a Vietnam veteran. When I went thru boot camp I was not allowed any outer communication with anyone. Boot camp is the first step of discipline in seeing if you'll make the first grade of manly hood. You can call to make sure your son is ok.

Best way to communicate is by mail. Phone usage is very limited. Emergencies go through the American Red Cross. Good Luck
