Sure you can borrow books from Any Chicago Public Library as long as you have a Valid Chicago Public Library Card. It's simple just choose the book of your interest and take to the checkout counter and they'll scan the book with your library card and give you an return date

There's book check outs on each level and on the main level also each floor is broken up in to categories like history fiction etc. you can ask for a directory at the main desk and there should be some posted around
