Don't expect to sit down and relax here like at all the other libraries: it's strictly for drop offs and pick ups, signing up for a card, etc. She called it an "express branch," though there's nothing on the CPL web site identifying it as such.

Happy to have the branch open again after the pandemic to pick up our reserved books. Sometimes find titles on the shelves. Staff is always polite.

The library is kinda small considering, but it is quiet. There isn’t too much seating but it’s good. Good place to relax and get some work done.

Minus 1 star for icy employee attitudes.

Why bother with such a tiny little thing ? If anything it should be a tourism trinket shop!! Lolol

It is EXTREMELY convenient to pick up interlibrary loans placed online as well as return items. Because of that it gets quite a lot of traffic from library users. There is a Walgreens across Chicago avenue where tourists can get their trinkets :)

How this Library ? Quintessential? Lol I was going to type quaint but that's not nice is it ?? Lololol

The Water Works library is helpful for hold pick up. A 24hour drop box would be appreciated.

Does it have children's books?

I'm not sure, but I'm sure you could confirm with a quick call.
