Unless something was specifically ordered for a person ,inventory control is usually done and controlled by Corporate. You can't have a Store the size of Home Improvement Centers going willy nilly ordering here and there by random employees.
Large chain stores use barcodes for computer inventory restock from a nationwide network. Go to the website, order what you want ship to store. You'll wait but know the date.
