I was thinking of becoming a member of this church until I saw that you celebrate Halloween. Honestly, do you truly believe Jesus would celebrate this day? I dont think so considering He tells us several times in His word to abstain from evil.

Let's not twist scripture now pastor, celebrating darkness and evil is something Paul would never do, when he preached to those who worshipped idols, did he also worship the idols? No he didnt, he preached against it. Celebrating Halloween to win souls is an awful excuse to celebrate darkness. Paul would have no part in such things and as a pastor you should know this. I believe in Ephesians 5:11 it says " And have no fellowship with the unfruitful.works of darkness, but rather reprove them" Paul’s instruction is plain and direct: Christians are to faithfully live in righteousness and purity and have nothing at all to do with the evil ways and works of Satan and the world. The two ways of living are unalterably opposed to each other and mutually exclusive (1 Cor. 5:9-11; 2 Cor. 6:14-18; 2 Thess. 3:6, 14).

"To the Jews I became as a Jew, in order to win Jews. To those under the law I became as one under the law (though not being myself under the law) that I might win those under the law. To those outside the law I became as one outside the law, (not being outside the law of God but under the law of Christ) that I might win those outside the law. To the weak I became weak, that I might win the weak. I have become all things to all people, that by all means I might save some. I do it all for the sake of the gospel, that I may share with them in its blessing." The Apostle Paul, 1 Corinthians 9:20-23 To the one that celebrates Halloween, I became as one who celebrates Halloween (though not being one that celebrates Halloween) that I might win those who celebrate Halloween. I will do anything short of sin, to win as many as possible to the gospel of Jesus Christ. Pastor David Crosby, Community Church

That's some of the silliest nonsense I've ever heard. To celebrate Halloween is not evil, just a custom. Plenty of people who don't believe in Jesus still celebrate Christmas.

U people saying this... Wow.. Just because we believe in the fun and spiritual feelings of a holloween.. Do u all even REALLY know what paganism is?? It is the FIRST religion.. People that prayed to the earth and all its wonderful wonders around it.. Air, fire, water.. The Earth!! We can not servive without these elements?? The 5 🌟star.. Or EVIL AS U WOULD CALL IT!! at top is #1 God. At right.. Mother earth, then fire, water and air. AND.. Yess there are desperate humans who use these essentials for very dark places.. But DO. NOT. SAY THAT IT'S ALL EVIL. THE good ones keep everything into perspective and accept everyone for who they are and what THEY believe in.. Blessed be lonley ones, I have only prayers for you.

God bless Pastor Dave his wife and family. I myself do not celebrate pagan holidays. All pagan holidays are not in the Bible, ex: Palm Sunday (dried seaweed) The same people with the palms said “Hosanna”were the same who said “crucify him” the next day

@ Pamela. Rest assured. Seek and you shall find. No disrespect but there isn’t a perfect church or man that I’m aware of. But pastor Dave’s calling is between God and himself. Him and his blessed wife and children have been doing this from humble beginnings. Again I don’t believe in Halloween but usually when I’m fed I know how to separate the meat from the bones. Please visit if you haven’t been planted in a church already. God bless you abundantly.
