When I tried to buy more than 7 bags of hot dog buns they explained that they had to set limits due to certain groups (like the Amish) buying out their supply. Makes sense as I've seen that happen at other stores that don't set limits. If you call ahead and let them know how many you need they will pre order for you and save them.
I would have left and came back an hour later with someone else to purchase them for you
I don't know what their policies are but I would call and talk to a manager for sure.
