LaPosa area is open desert n is just south of free BLM camping on east side of road. 5 miles n of quartzite. Also AZ state land is only 22.00 a year. We've done all areas, n my favorite is state land. You must go on line to obtain permit n place in window. Less people, more quiet, n so close to town of quartzite.

Absolutely! There's a fee in the LTVA. It's $180 for the season. Free BLM is on the other side of town.
