Yup! They will sell you, & then cheat you!

Ab-so-Freaking-lutely. Perennial "VAN" lines has no "vans". They subcontract your moves to the lowest bidder, which in my case stole my belongings, damaged much of them. I had to fly across the entire country to spend days identifying everything covered in red "evidence" tape. Rent a truck, hire loaders/unloaders, pay for fuel, tolls, motels, meals, flights, ubers, parking, a week off from work. Not to mention the stress and dangers of a 60+ female driving from Seattle to Florida alone in the midst of a pandemic. They wouldn't return my calls, basically said I was a liar about the stolen/missing/damaged belongings. Offered no recompense, or even an apology. I still can't do my work because one item that was broken was a custom designed/made workstation for my specific specialty job. It is very difficult to be productive working on a laptop sitting on an inflatable bed because both your bed and your workstation has been irreparably damaged or irretrievably stolen.
