Spring until fall if you haven't been you should go loved it.
The ship is open from the 1st of May thru the 31st of October. The hours are 10 to 5 Tuesday thru Saturday and noon to 5 on Sundays, closed on Mondays. Note that the latest time you can board is 4:00 to give sufficient time to tour the boat. Purchase wrist bands in the museum. Admission to the boat is in addition ($4 extra) to admission to the museum (worthwhile). Check with the museum for current prices. Plan at least an hour for the museum and an hour for the boat.
I think Spring through Fall. Exceptionally educational and gives you a new appreciation to Great Lakes shipping. Go, you'll love it.

I believe it's during the spring through the fall.. I would check the museums webpage or call them, to find out for sure. We were there in late September & it was open then. Its open May to October. According to their website
