They probably wouldn't want you to if they know you're not looking to buy anything. But I test drove a few and didn't end up buying any of them. They're salesmen, so they're going to do their best to persuade you to make a purchase, but there's nothing stopping you from saying, "I need to look at some other vehicles first," or "this one just isn't right for me," and walking away. They'll try to talk you into staying, but you're not doing anything wrong or abnormal by leaving after a test drive.
Don't waste your time here.
Be up front that you will NOT be buying a car today, you are just doing research and figuring out what you want. Say the are some other cars on your list you want to eliminate first before making a final decision.
I would just go down there and the first thing I would say is in not here to buy just look. I would go in the middle of the week when there slow. Then you wouldn't be keeping the salesman from a costumer that would maybe buy a car tjat day.
