Lawn seating as well as seats. Food and drinks are on a show-by-show basis, depending on the promoter, not every show is free. Some are but many are ticketed events. There are always vendors out there selling food & drinks.
There are free summer concerts. Bring your own chairs. No large coolers. Many bring their own drinks . Just be discreet. Drinks can also be purchased at bars only a few steps away. There is free parking on the street and in a nearby garage. A second garage is used for valey service on busy nights.

The concert I went to will they pay concert and had a gate around it. You are not allowed to bring in your own food or drink. But they had some you could buy there. There were some seats up front that you paid for, or you sat behind it on your own blanket, I'm not sure if you could bring in a lawn chair or not. I don't know if it's different for the free concerts or not.
