We were there the weekend after July 4th last year. It was dry but we hadn't had nearly the same amount of rain as we have had this year.

Can I metal detect here?
Cam you fish the river, or only in certain areas.? Also, it's there an older pay old town? I'm always seeing pictures of when it would flood and now allot of buildings are abandoned. 😪
Is there any camping or lodgings near the area or places shops to buy food?

Is camping available? We stayed there in 2003and head a great experience.
