I am a freshman at King College Prep... and attended University Of Chicago Carter G. Woodson for middle school. I am interested in Orthopedics and Cardiology and wanted to know if I could possibly become an intern or go to the hospital to observe?

Follow your dreams young man, never let them go. Do contact the school to find out your options. As said by Langston Hughes, "Hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die, life is a broken-winged bird that cannot fly".

You'd have to contact the hospital to find out about programs.

If you're serious about it, you should call the hospital and don't waste your time on Google questions and answers. Follow your dreams, do an internship as soon as possible so you can get experience.

probably need 4-6+ years of med school then years for specialties. plus money and high grades. but I am not a doctor and don't know for sure. doubtful that sitting- in is ever generally offered to the interested public.
