I had a Focus and now a Fusion and both have had factory recalls. They send those letters out months before the dealer has the parts. I can't remember if I ever got another letter saying the parts were in, but I did get another letter about the recall. They'll send you the lette every few monthsr till they show in their system you've had the work done. I use Car Fax and was notified about 6 months before I got the letter from Ford and called them in July to learn they wouldn't have parts till Jan the next year. On a recall, there's never a charge to you for service. I've never paid anything.

You really need to call your dealership and ask them.
