There were a few suspects, a state senator, a man named andy sawyer and a traveling preacher who had been known as a peeping Tom and has been said to confessed to the crime yet the investigation was either corrupt or incompetent, so no one had been convicted for it.
Actually someone did confess!!!! They just didn't feel like he was the right perp!!
Theres a very good book out called man from the train. The author names a man as the killer. Didnt want to spoil it for those of u who want to read it.
