It is $10 per person to get in. My wife and I were just there a week ago. There is a tour guide there to answer questions and give you the history of the place. I, unfortunately, have forgotten his name but he was super nice and very knowledgeable. Lived right next door to the house. The house definitely has intense feeling to it. My wife says she witnessed a ball rolling across the kitchen floor and a perfectly straight line. This was strange because we were standing in the living room talking to the guide and no one else was in the house at the time. I had my back to the kitchen so I did not see the ball rolling. When we went to check it out we realized the ball would have had to roll uphill to follow the path my wife said it did. Strange indeed.

#1. The house is set up like it was in 1912. We toured during the day, but no lights were on and it had an erie feeling. #2. It cost $10.00 to tour the house. You could stay as long as you pleased, and it was an unescorted tour. #3. I didn't notice any unusual happenings, but there were many reported door openings and closings, objects moved about, and strange noises from other tourists.

1) It is a creepy atmosphere knowing that 8 people were murdered in the very rooms where you are standing. That alone can give you a feeling of dread. On 2 separate times when I went into a room where the 2 neighbor girls were killed I got chills and the hair on my neck stood up. I didn't have that feeling at any other time or in any other room. But scary? Not really. 2) The house isn't open to simply come in and walk around. You can only come for scheduled tours that cost money, or pay to spend the night in the house like we did. 3) At one point during the day my wife and I went to get some food, leaving my sister-in-law alone in the house for a while. She swears that while we were gone she felt someone behind her and felt a breath on the back of her neck. My chills and her incident were the only things that happened during our entire visit.

It has intense energy but it's not really a scary energy. Yes it does cost to tour the house during the day I think it was around 15.00.
