We have a Radon Reduction System installed by Jerry's Basement Waterproofing before we purchased the house. Air is continued pushed through the pipe. This has to cost money to run motor. Is there a way to check our Radon? Do we need this?

There are tests that can be done to check for radon. Usually involves setting up a monitor over a couple days time frame to get a sample.

You can do a radon test. If you have a radon system, you probably had elevated levels of radon gas at one time. The fan uses very little electricity and should run continuously.
