Why is it acceptable for these guys to steal someone else's dog and refuse to give it back because a member of their staff has adopted it?

They took a dog in and let one of their workers keep it even though the owner repeatedly tried to contact them and were told that the dog was not up for adoption. This place is pathetic.

Looks like they may have deleted their Facebook page.

Their response is a lie, they had the dog for 24 hours. Surely any decent person let alone their own communications director would do the right thing by the puppy and return it now the owners have made it very well known it's their dog but instead she decided to 'adopt' the dog herself and bypass proper time frames.

So what exactly happened here why can't they have there dog back
