I would contact the supervisor of the pound and complain although they will probably come back to you and say that if your puppy had the proper shots he would not contracted and that is not true because I have a friend who works in a shelter and says that dogs even though they have gotten the preventative shots are still getting a problem and that might be one of the things the pound will tell you there are some really nasty bugs out there any more regardless how much we try to prevent
