Because people can't treat things with respect and they have been repeadly vandalized
Oh, not to mention, Time of park, certain parts are considered for homosexual cruising. The bathrooms, in this day and time, can only aid in keeping drug users and other illegal activities out. Too keep it safe for your family as well as yourself. I do think they are available during the summer months.
