After reading the 1 reply, I wholeheartedly agree with him. I had heard that the dealerships charge way more than that. I myself have not had to experience that problem myself.
You can buy a key on Amazon its a lot less than the dealer , then you can get your vin # and your key take it to the dealer and have it program some times the dealer needs your car or truck there so you may have to have it towed there , if you have AAA your in good shape. I had to buy a Fob for my 2012 Altima on Amazon it was Elven bucks and it came we with instructions and I did it my self so try Amazon first this my experience with this problem I hope this helps if the key and Fob are together you will have to take it to the dealer or call a lock Smith call one first and get an estimate good luck
You can buy a key for it else where, but most cars/trucks now a days have the key fob, which needs to be programmed to your vehicle, and that's usually 35-65 dollars. The key fob itself is what's expensive.
