It is a long and pretty much impossible process. There are only two options that are at Ohio State’s dental school and I believe somewhere in Cleveland. This is just based on the process my mom attempted to go through! She has still not been able to get her tooth fixed after 3 years even though it is technically “covered.” This could differ though! For its Medicaid program, anterior teeth are porcelain fused with Noble metal, for back teeth, only metal are covered, in the Fee for Service and in all five managed care companies, including CareSource. Your dentist will need to request prior authorization and provide documents for the medical management team to review.
