Woolgrowers is a traditional French Basque family style restaurant which means that they will have long tables in a row why you may be sitting across from your loved one next to you someone else will be served their 7-course meal and to top it off you will get a cup of ice cream which some locals will put chocolate or wine in it. Yes if you're over 21 you will get a bottle of traditional wine with your meal. There is one price you would pay for your meal and from your 7 courses 1 course you will have an opportunity to choose from either the best steak that you've ever had, pork chop, lamb, and a few other choices that I cannot remember from the top of my head what are the courses you would get is lamps stew. In the future the family has been renovating the top floor for private meal rooms.
For what you get to eat......its great. Soup salad, sides and entree dessert wine bread. Lunch is less expensive. They now serve sandwiches at the bar..... Nice touch.

$20.00 for lunch, and $25.00 for dinner. Very reasonable and extremely satisfying. Heck, I think I just talked myself into eating there tonight.

The food is wonderful. The prices are more then fair for the amount of food you will receive. And yes the locals put the wine in the soup, and is really good on the ice cream. A favorite place for local to have a meal, and the bar is usually full of everyone having a good time.
Suzanne, their prices are very good. Please go! Take your boy friend or husband because the food helpings are quite significant.
