If you do end up having to take him somewhere i would recommend a pitbull rescue. They are more experienced with this breed and he will be taken care of better

The poor dog probably has separation anxiety. I would try to speak with the owners. Unless someone else has talked to them they may not be aware there is an issue. Try to recommend a good trainer such as Melody Daggs or many others in our area that can help them deal with these issues. That is my best advice. Hope it helps. Best of luck to the poor pit.
