This facility does quick and excellent work, The staff there loves animals and during tough for times of my life they were extremely generous with their services. There was one summer where we had to keep an entire litter of puppies. Five new dogs! We live in the foothills and it was a particularly devastating year for insects, fleas and ticks in particular. I brought in 3 females over 20 lbs. at that time both me and my mother were struggling to make ends meet and I had three female dogs to fix, The staff will not proceed if there’s parasites present, and the flea and tick treatment was $10 per animal, I barely had enough to pay for the procedure. Together the staff donated the treatment so that we could get our animals taken care of. Professionally, nobody does that anymore! The staff understood our position, instead of judging us, they helped us. I have sworn by them ever since. The only reason I reduce them by one star is because it takes a very long time to get an appointment at least it did the last time I made one. Almost 10 years later we still have three of the five dogs, They were the best dogs we ever had.

Terrible and horrendous experience. Never coming back for vaccines or check ups. Our dog, 15 lbs, is aggressive and we had informed the staff. He had a muzzle on as well. He was fine getting taken into the room but the lady then came out after attempting to vaccinate him, yelling at my mother and telling us not to come back because he was aggressive. She was dragging him by the neck with the leash, and sustained burns from the leash from how hard she had dragged him. He was limping when we had gotten home. Not to mention, he was completely traumatized and we have since moved to a private vet. Much better and has done well since.

Every one of my poms (and poodle mix) gets there shots from Valley's. Since my first experience here, I've never gone to another place again. The staff is so nice and caring. They helped me the first time by informing me about what shots were for what and have handled my one aggressive pom with care. I love Valley and have recommended them to my older sister as well.

Our Low-Cost Clinic pricing is setup to offer the lowest prices available for all community members. We occasionally will have a promotion on a clinic service that would lower the cost on a specific item though. For the month of August 2019, you can receive $5OFF any single $15 vaccine.
I hope things work out for you and your husky good luck
Yes
We offer low-cost spay/neuter services at our clinic by appointment, Monday-Friday. We accept cash, debit, or credit cards for payment.
Our adoption centers are open daily, 10am-4:30pm. Please come by anytime to see the animals available for adoption.
Contact them!
I would call them and ask. Wonderful staff and always willing to assist.
Have you called the Valley Animal Center? If not, give them a call and see if they are taking in strays. Even if they can't because of over population, it's best to try and trap them (if feral) and get them spayed or neutered or your complex is going to have a overrun of cats in less than a year. A female cat can have up to 3 litters of 6 babies in one year and females can get pregnant as soon as 5 months old. Take care of the problem now before it gets too unbearable.
I'm homeless and finding help to rehome my beautiful husky is tough. Ive called everywhere and mostly only get references to other places. Ive been trying to get him fixed and shots and then get him a home because he deserves better. But its been weeks.. I feel so depressed about it. I called here as well. More well wishes and references. Maybe they will call back and I'll have more to say.
Hi Alexander, our volunteer program allows people in our community to volunteer starting at age 5. Any volunteer under 18 years of age is required to me accompanied by an adult both at orientation and when they volunteer at the shelter. Valley Animal Center does not participate in court mandated community service hours.
Call and make an appointment.....
The Fresno pet cemetery is amazing.. we’ve gotten three of are babies cremated there. I’m sorry about your loss
I don't think so
T.Y. That was my Monday phone call. They were closed when I asked
Ferals: Male or Female $40 Rabies Vaccines $5 Flea Treatment $10 This service is offered Monday, Wednesday, & Friday to the first 5 feral cats, first come, first serve at 7:30am. Feral cats that are brought to the clinic are required to have their ear tipped. There will be no additional fee for this service. If you decline to have this service preformed, you will have to schedule an appointment for the procedure another time and will be charged the regular spay or neuter fee. Ferals must arrive in separate traps. Cats/Kittens must arrive in separate pet carriers and will leave in separate carriers. For your convenience we offer cardboard pet carriers at $5 per carrier.
We only have cats and dogs. Check with CCSPCA for rabbits in need of adopting.
Yes we do currently have a few puppies that recently were added to the adoption floor. Our Dog Adoption Center hours are 10am-4:30pm daily.
They charge between $10-15 depending on how big the dog is
Baby bottles and goats milk is the best substitute
We do offer low-cost spay/neuter services for kittens. Females are $45 and males are $40. Please contact our clinic directly for schedule availability.
They do have appointments, but they are usually booked about 2 weeks in advance
Only low care vaccinations
Depends on dogs weight
Cat house on the king's. Try thrrr
Hi Sherry, the deworming price is based on on the weight of the animal, as well as if you are trying to treat one kind of worm or the combo. Come by our clinic Monday-Friday 9AM-5:30PM (closed 12-1), or the 1st & 3rd Saturday of each month 10AM-3PM and they would be better able to give you a quote.
If you meant dog... The surrender fee depends on age and medical condition of the animal, if they are spayed or neutered, etc. Also they will only take animals if they have space available
I would call them to see what services they are able to help with and schedule an appointment.
I would give them a call. There was also a post on Facebook yesterday from Fresno Humane about this exact thing and best instructions on how to handle this type of situation, so maybe check it out. Good luck!
I believe you can bring them in. It's a no kill shelter.
It's going to depend on weight.
Yes , my Jack a poo Russell gets them horrible and nuts himself still he bleeds
Yes they are
Just cats and dogs
You can do it a little after
45 for Females, 40 for males. Kittens, they have to be a certain wait/age. I would call and check. Just found out today ☺
If 14 and under, an adult of 18 years or older has to accompany the child. If 15-17 then they can possibly allow you with a signed doc. 18 and over okay.

You should contact him directly for that question.
Contact them 🙂
You can't take them there, but you can take them to the Clovis rescue and care center next to the skate park in Clovis and the will make sure they are healthy and then send them to Mrs. Winkles Pet Adoption center. They will be safe going there!
It depends. You can contact them directly or go to the website
Yes, 18 but if you have somebody to watch you that is of age, 16.
Go to a local get and or go to the Clovis animal rescue and care center. They have a vet there and they might get you in. It is over by the skateboard park and the Clovis ware tower.
The Valley Animal Center is always looking for volunteers! They have volunteer orientations every month, the next orientation will be Thursday, May 3rd from 5:30 to 7:00 pm.
Hope Foundation, 30 bucks

You should just go in person and talk to them about your situation
Yes

Inquire at Valley Animal they are a no kill shelter. I would show up with pets being that the matter is urgent. Maybe also at the same time make appointment for spay and neuter of the parent's of the little cuties. There prices are extremely inexpensive. And they will see you are doing your part making sure you don't find yourself in a pickle again. I hope this heps.
No yet
SPCA rescue center
Yes
Check with the front desk
Ok, thank you very much thank you all. I am so grateful!
Find a family with a hen house outside of city limits
You will need to contact them directly to inquire about their payment policy.
Mom may be mistaken. You are right to ask about neutering your dog. Good luck to you.
I believe there is a fee for that.
Unfortunately, VAC is a privatelt owned no kill rescue, not an animal control facility. Meaning they arent equipped to take in strays. The only facilities that have the ability to take in a stray and put it on a stray hold are Fresno Humane and SPCA.
You can pay $5 for the day. Or $50 for the year. Your dog has to have to vaccination record from a vet & pass a temperament test.
