You can drink responsibly on the pier and on the boats. I have seen boat captains prevent further alcohol consumption when guys get obviously drunk and loud.
Keep it on the DL and you should be fine
The restaurant which is closed for renovations sells acholic beverages when open. You can also drink on the boats. I have never seen any posting prohibiting acholic beverages.
