The SPCA is not a breeder. Specific breeds are never a guarentee to be available for adoption. Most dogs are strays or owner surrendered. However, there has been a large influx recently of Husky/Malamute dogs. The SPCA will not tell you the price of pure bred dogs or where you can purchase them. You may be able to find an equally loving and smaller sized dog up for adoption.
