If you going south past the first entrance to the park with the bridge overpass, past the second entrance on the left and then there is a nother blocked entrance on the left. Pull over by that closed gate and you will find Chestnut trees there.
Will do, been looking for a chestnut tree for 2 weeks now....nothing. Update....we found a horse chestnut tree. If you head south past the first entrance, then pull into the next one, head to the right and park by the large wooden barn. Take the path that leads into the field, then turn to your right and walk up to the road....you can't miss it. Thanks Alex K.
Very few. American chestnut trees were prelevant, however most are diseased or dead. There are a few in the back areas of the park.
Ya know, that really is a good fkn question! Lol I honestly don't think I ever seen any there, but I'll be paying attention from now on! I'll let u guys know! Lol I know they have chestnuts ALL OVER allentown and the west side tho
Yes quite a few 1/2 way out the main loop. By the hill, called big mother. For a week or two in the fall it rains chestnuts.
