My dog was diagnosed with a tumor in her eye and needs to remove the eye. The specialist can do it but also can see if regular vet can.?? Any advice?

Speak to your regular vet but if they referred you to the surgeon they probably will want them to do it.

Surgical ability is individual to each Vet, not the practice. Don't know how good the surgeons are there. For anything more specific I take my three dogs to the animal eye clinic in Wilton, they are really great

I would ask your regular vet if they feel comfortable doing the eye removel. I used to work for the animal ophthalmologist in Norwalk in many of our clients had their regular veterinarians do the eye removel. I use Brookfield animal hospital, I highly recommend Dr. Datner. Or if you don't mind a bit of a drive strawberry Hill animal hospital, Norwalk. Dr.Kurose is a wonderful doctor.

I DID NOT have a good experience with the doctor there !!!!!!! It felt like I was PUTTING THEM OUT by Just Being There !!!! The ppl who recommended them must have had one but I didn't !!? I always go with what my Heart And Mind Say, Trust Your Own Feelings okay ???
