I was at the hospital in 1952, but it was located on Starling Ave. and my birth certificate reads,- Martinsville hospital! Before that it was on Church St., And was Shackleford Hosp.!

This hospital opened in 1970. Prior to this hospital it was Shackelford hospital founded by Dr. Jesse Martin Shackelford.
