Is Four Seasons at Beech Mountain the same location as Maple Chalet? From Maple Chalet, are there bars/restaurants/skiing within walking distance in the winter months?

It's not the same location, and yes, from Maple Chalet you can walk to restaurants, bars, and ski resort. But if you stay at the Four Seasons Hotel, they will take you to the ski resort if you can't drive your car.
