I would say it's a gonner .. although staff is extremely nice and caring but Retainers are light and not very noticeable. Plus if you don't wear it for couple months it probably will not fit anyways.

I would say you probably can if you contact them. We didnt stay at the hotel when we were down there . We just went to the beach.
