Appointments enhance the customers experience by reducing the amount of time inside (usually less than 30-60 minutes) as well has reducing the time waiting outside the building.
It's so the employees don't get overwhelmed with too many people inside and a distance between people are possible. It's works really well. I know it's takes a couple of weeks to get an appointment but when you go you'll see how effective it is by moving people quickly and safely through the process. I was just there and I appreciated the process more after I'd seen how well it works.
