Yes unfortunately, unless we get some kind of assistance to pay for the utilities and other vendors. While we have some people that are wonderful and pay responsibly, we have far more that don’t and won’t. We have too many people staying here that have the money to pay for their rooms but refuse due to the eviction moratorium. The majority get SSI or SSD and paid faithfully before the eviction ban and now answer that the Governor said that they don’t have to pay...wow really? We can no longer pay for those that want to stay at the hotel for FREE! And destroy the rooms in the process...pictures will be posted soon of some of the guest rooms. If that isn’t enough, the people that have been refusing to pay, will not and have not applied for any assistance from Crisis Assistance, Rampclt, NC Hope, etc. during the entire eviction ban. It’s sad, so very very sad and heart breaking for me, my staff and the few wonderful people that we have staying here. God is in control though :)
