It is a historical town especially in that area. So it will be very hard to change this.. it is all protected by the city laws. No change will be forthcoming..
Cobblestone streets and difficult to cross using a cane. I wouldn't recommend crossing with a wheelchair.

The street is pretty rough but there is a parking lot right on the river front that has many handicap spaces. They do gave crosswalks as well but it is a cobblestone road
