We always carry our luggage on. On the website for this port it says only small carry-on type bags allowed, everything else has to be checked in. Is this true?

You can carry on what you have. I always do too.

Hi. It's a lot easier to check your bag at this port. The building that you check in at isn't near the building where you get on the ship. Its a short bus ride, but a longer walk. It's a quick process, due to the fact that the only luggage you have is carry on.

Thanks everyone. I know it's always easier to check. But after several sets of luggage destroyed or lost we prefer to take them with us. Just making sure that's possible.

We always let them take our two large suitcase's and we give a tip to the person takes it. Then we carry on our 12 pack of soda one each. We always have a carry on bag for our medications etc. Never had a problem. Happy Sailing!

Hello I just came from a cruise 2 weeks ago I had a carryon bag and rolling luggage..they took all luggage before we got to the ship the other small bag I had they checked. Hope this makes sense and helps.

You can carry all luggage on, but it will be inconvenience right now. The check in terminal is located across street and they stuttle you over to the ramp to load onto cruise ship. You will be rolling it a decent say from parking lot to terminal before getting on shuttle
