I disagree with T. T. You get some acts drowned out by sorority girls acting hard to be the most blonde stereotype. You get DJ rap shows, private parties, and others. Some national 80-90 type alt bands. Per month there's usually 3-4 shows worth going. Georgia theater including rooftop, Caledonia Lounge, and Little Kings offer much better music on average.
40 Watt is known for being the starting point for B52s and REM. They take chances on new bands, some good, some not so good. Go with open mind or Google the act before you go. Great place with some history behind it.
Pretty good. The band i went to had a good vocal, a pretty wild lead guitarist.
